Apple’s “week of Mac” continued with the launch of the new M4 MacBook Pro lineup — the most powerful Macs yet. Available in 14-inch, the notebooks now come with three chip options: the baseline M4, the M4 Pro, and the all-new M4 Max, designed for users with the most demanding workflows.
The new models keep the same premium Liquid Retina XDR displays, now with an optional nano-texture glass finish, while also adding a 12MP Center Stage camera for sharper video calls. Performance leaps are especially notable in graphics and machine learning, with Apple touting 2× faster ray tracing and 2× faster Neural Engine performance compared to the M3 series.
